Traffic for trucks suspended in the Romanija area due to snow

(Patria) - Due to heavy snowfall in the Romanija area, traffic for heavy goods vehicles has been suspended.

Due to intermittently heavy snowfall, traffic is slowed down, especially on sections over certain mountain passes.

Winter services are on the ground and carrying out necessary interventions, but on sections with heavy snowfall, there is still snow on the road, and in places, ice.

The following roads are particularly affected: Priluka - Glamoč - Mliništa, Ključ - Bosanski Petrovac, Bugojno - Kupres - Šuica, Turbe - Karanovac, Sarajevo - Konjic and Sarajevo - Tarčin-Rogoj, as well as the Makljen pass (Prozor - Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje), Rostovo (Bugojno - Novi Travnik), Komar (Donji Vakuf - Travnik) and Oštrelj (Bosanski Petrovac - Drvar).

In the rest of the country, traffic is on wet or damp roads, and we also warn of an increased danger of landslides on numerous sections. We advise driving with maximum caution and remind drivers not to set off without winter equipment, according to BIHAMK.

Due to frequent landslides, we highlight the following roads: Bihać - Srbljani - Bosanska Krupa, Turbe - Karanovac, Sarajevo - Foča, Crna Rijeka - Jajce - Donji Vakuf and Bugojno - Kupres, as well as the Rostovo (Novi Travnik - Bugojno) and Makljen (Prozor - Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje) passes.

Due to works on the bridge at the entrance to Sanski Most from the direction of Ključ, near the Water Park, traffic is suspended and diverted to the bypass.

Works are also underway on the main roads Grude-Vitina and Čevljanovići-Nišići, and at the work sites, traffic is alternating, one lane at a time.

At border crossings, passenger vehicles do not wait longer than 30 minutes.

Due to winter driving conditions in Croatia, a ban on movement for heavy goods vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers is in effect at the Izačić border crossing.
