Bosnians thrown out of pizzeria in Drvenik due to 'modest' order

A tourist originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina is outraged by the behaviour of hospitality workers in Drvenik, Croatia, who she claims threw her and her family out of a local pizzeria during their holiday in July this year because their order was modest.

Advija Žiga told the Bosnian news agency Patria that her family sat down at the Maslina pizzeria in Drvenik, after which they ordered juices and ice creams, but the waiter began insulting them because their order was too small, explaining to them that it was lunchtime.

- The restaurant owner tried to justify the waiter by saying that the Chinese had angered him earlier, when six of them ordered one pizza – said Žiga, adding that this excuse was not exactly the best for her. Žiga believes that the waiter took out his anger on them after realising they were from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- Next to us sat foreign guests who also only had drinks on their table. No one made problems for them. But suddenly our juice and ice cream became a problem – said Žiga for Patria, adding that she has been holidaying in Drvenik for several years, coming from Sweden where her family lives, but that this is probably the last time she will spend her holiday money in this place, NAP reports.
