Traffic suspended on Livno-Tomislavgrad road due to traffic accident, adjust driving to road conditions

(Patria) - Due to a serious traffic accident in which one person died, traffic on the Livno-Tomislavgrad main road (near the "Mandak" swimming area) has been suspended since 10 AM, BIHAMK announced.

On the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, traffic is on wet and occasionally slippery roads. Due to heavy rain in some areas of our country, drivers are asked to drive with maximum caution and adjust their driving to the current road conditions.

This is the last working day of the week, and many will surely use the weekend for travel. Check the road conditions, as well as the situation at the border crossings, and thus avoid additional delays. We expect particularly heavy traffic on the Bradina-Mostar main road.

Due to a large number of inquiries, we remind you that the A-1 highway section Bradina-Tarčin (Ivan tunnel) is operational, as well as the Stolac-Neum main road.

Due to construction work on noise barriers on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, traffic is using the overtaking lane.

Works are also underway on the main roads: Semizovac-Olovo, Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), and Vrhpolje-Ključ.

We remind you that traffic on the Jablanica-Blidinje road is allowed for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total weight.

At the Gradiška border crossing, there is a long queue of passenger vehicles exiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. At other border crossings, delays for passenger vehicles range from 10 to 30 minutes. The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
