Traffic halted on Tuzla-Doboj road due to pensioner protest

Due to a pensioner protest, traffic on the M-4 Tuzla-Doboj section in Donja Orahovica has been completely halted and is being redirected to alternative routes, reports the Patria news agency. 

Traffic is moving slowly on sections where rehabilitation works are underway, where temporary traffic signage has been installed and must be obeyed. We highlight the following routes: Tuzla-Bijeljina, Jajce-Banja Luka, Sarajevo-Kiseljak, Brod na Drini-GP Hum, Bosanski Brod-Odžak, and Čapljina-Stolac.

On the A-1 motorway, traffic is flowing without any extraordinary restrictions.

There is increased vehicle traffic at the Doljani border crossing, so for all those traveling towards the Dubrovnik region, we recommend using the border crossings of Čepikuće and Ivanica, and for those heading towards the Makarska Riviera and further north, we recommend the border crossings of Zvirići, Bijača, Crveni Grm, and Orahovlje.  Due to works in Croatia, a ban on heavy goods vehicles is in effect at the Brčko-Gunja border crossing.

We appeal to drivers to check all necessary documentation and verify the validity of all documents required for crossing the border before setting off on their journey, BIHAMK stated.
