Roadworks on main thoroughfare cause minor traffic jams, drivers seek alternative routes

(Patria) - Roadworks on the main city thoroughfare, which began this morning at Skenderija, have caused traffic jams.

Reisa Džemaludina Čauševića Street is closed to traffic from Mis Irbina Street, forcing drivers to turn left and exit onto Maršala Tita Street near the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina building.

Regarding the main thoroughfare, works at the very beginning of the project will be carried out on the left side of the road, and traffic will proceed in two lanes, the middle and the right. The public will be informed in a timely manner about all changes.

The works are being carried out by the company Strabag, whose machinery has been operational since this morning.
