Search for car that plunged into the Bosna River suspended due to darkness

The search for the car that plunged off the regional road Kakanj - Visoko this afternoon has been suspended due to darkness and will continue tomorrow morning, the Municipality of Kakanj announced, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The car went off the road in the village of Seoča, on the border of the municipalities of Kakanj and Visoko. The riverbed where the search is being conducted is very dangerous and difficult to search given the depth and rapids.

Members of the special units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK), as well as members of the fire brigades from Visoko and Kakanj, searched for the car and passengers today, but without success. Divers searched the location, but found no one before dark.

It is known that the car is a Volkswagen Polo, but it is not known how many people were inside.
