Traffic to be suspended tomorrow due to commemoration and funeral of Tihić

On Saturday, September 27, between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM, there will be a temporary suspension and change in traffic regime in the streets Maršala Tita from the intersection with Fra Anđela Zvizdovića Street to the intersection with Hamze Hume Street, and Alipašina Street towards Vogošća.

Traffic will be suspended due to the passage of a vehicle convoy with the coffin of the late Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Sulejman Tihić.

The decision on the temporary traffic suspension was made by the Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton at the request of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

Otherwise, the coffin with the body of Sulejman Tihić, Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be displayed in the building of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly in Sarajevo tomorrow at nine o'clock.

The protocol for the final farewell of Sulejman Tihić provides for an honor guard to alternate by the coffin until 11 AM, when a commemoration is scheduled to be held in the large hall of the BiH Parliament. 

The coffin will be carried out to the plateau in front of the BiH PS at noon, when the funeral prayer will be held, led by the Reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH, Husein ef. Kavazović. 

The procession with Tihić's coffin will then proceed to Bosanski Šamac, where the funeral prayer will be held at 4:10 PM and burial will take place in the courtyard of the White Mosque.
