Rain makes road surface wet, adjust your driving to road conditions

(Patria) - Due to rain that fell during the night and morning, the road surface is locally wet or damp. We advise more cautious driving, adapted to current conditions and the state of the roads. It is the holiday season, so today we also expect increased vehicle traffic, especially on roads towards the south. Keep a safe distance between vehicles and avoid risky overtaking.

We remind you that on the Jablanica-Bildinje main road, traffic is allowed for all vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes total weight.

Roadworks are ongoing on the Podlugovi-Sarajevo north and Doboj-Banja Luka motorway sections, as well as on the main roads: Zenica-Žepče (Topčić Polje), Kladanj-Vlasenica, Tuzla-Šićki Brod (turn-off for Lipnica), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), Sarajevo-Pale and Vrhpolje-Ključ.

Due to active landslides, we highlight the main roads Dobro Polje-Foča (at locations Sijeračke stijene and Tuhalji) and Gacko-Tjentište (between the Čemerno and Surdup tunnels).

At border crossings, passenger vehicles, for now, are not waiting longer than 15 to 30 minutes. The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.

Due to a sports event, today from 07:30 until midnight, traffic will be suspended near the Novi Grad border crossing. During the traffic suspension, alternative streets will be used to reach the border crossing (Dositeja Obradovića and Dobrile Grubor streets).

Traffic is banned for vehicles over 5 tonnes maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 tonnes are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses may use the GP Šepak crossing. Freight vehicles may travel on GP Šepak from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends they may cross during the 22:00 to 06:00 period).
