Heavy Rain Hinders Traffic, Frequent Landslides on Roads

Due to the ongoing rain, traffic is hindered on most road routes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Extremely heavy rain is particularly impeding traffic in the southwestern Bosnia and parts of Herzegovina, according to BIHAMK, writes Patria. Drivers are urged to drive with maximum caution and adjust their driving to the current road conditions. 

On the section of the regional road R-413 Turbe-Banja Luka, traffic for heavy goods vehicles is suspended due to a larger landslide, while passenger vehicles are moving slowly.

Traffic is still interrupted on the section of the main road M-18 Dobro Polje - Miljevina. The alternative route is via Rogatica and Goražde.

On sections where renovation works are being carried out, compliance with the posted signage is mandatory. We highlight the road sections: Ljubuški-Grude, Tuzla-Šićki Brod, Kiseljak-Busovača, Bosansko Grahovo-Livno, Sarajevo-Olovo, as well as the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Jošanica. Demining works are ongoing on the M-15 Livno-Glamoč section (in the village of Korićine), where temporary short traffic suspensions occur daily from 8 AM to 2 PM.

On the M-4 Simin Han-Kalesija (in the place Babajići) and M-18 Tuzla-Bijeljina (in the place Seljublje) sections, traffic is suspended for heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 tons. Traffic is still suspended on the R-458 Lopare-Gornja Tuzla road. We remind you that on the regional road R-467 Olovo - Ribnica, a ban on traffic for vehicles over 12 tons is in effect, reports Patria.
