Why is BH Gas Hiding Traffic Data?

The company BH-Gas achieved a profit of KM 1,180,070 in the first half of 2014, which seems like a good result when compared to the fact that the company ended 2012 with a loss of KM 6,287,849 and 2013 with a loss of KM 14,850,950, writes the BH news agency Patria.

However, this report will not be positive at the end of the year, claims our source, who is well-informed, and says that in the first quarter, BH-Gas's business was in the black with three million KM.

We also requested information about traffic from this company, but Dino Salihagić, spokesperson for BH-Gas, told us that they do not provide such data. However, Patria learns that traffic, which was KM 220 million two years ago, has fallen to KM 120 million!

- They are a public company and should have such data online, not hide it. It is true that they had positive business in the first half of the year, but half of what they had in the first three months, which means they are falling. Traffic is half as much, and at the end of the year, they will again be in the red by six million - says our source.

The drop in traffic was most affected by the fact that the alumina factory Birač imports gas itself, and that the winter in Sarajevo was warm.
