Facade and insulation works completed at Ninth Primary School

In the Ninth Primary School Rakovica, the renovation of the facade and insulation of the old part of the school building have been completed. The Ilidža Municipality allocated 47,000 KM for these works, Patria reports.

The director of this educational institution, Nermina Budnjo, expressed gratitude to Mayor Senaid Memić and the Ilidža Municipality.

- It is nice to know that in times of materialism and distorted values, there are people and institutions that care about the most important thing, about what cannot be bought with any money, and that is upbringing and education. This is an investment that pays off multiple times. Investing in children is the only real investment that is the foundation for the development of not only the local community but also our country, Bosnia and Herzegovina - said Budnjo.

Gratitude was also expressed for donations of funds for the purchase of materials for maintaining cleanliness in the school, school snacks for students in social need, organizing excursions, and gifts for first-grade students.

As Budnjo said, one should not forget that the Municipality allocates funds for awards for students who have achieved certain results in competitions, organizing swimming and skiing schools in which our students also participated, and many other activities where the municipality's selfless support was present.

- We hope that our cooperation will continue in a positive direction as it has been so far. We will strive to justify the trust and, together, as a team, make every effort to raise and educate generations of true humanists - added Budnjo.
