Hajj Preparations Completed: Digital Guide for BiH Pilgrims Presented

(Patria) - In Sarajevo today, organized by the Riyaset of the Islamic Community in BiH, a final seminar was held for guides, consultants, medical and technical staff who will be engaged in the realization of the upcoming Hajj.

The seminar represents the final phase of months-long preparations carried out by the Office for Hajj and Umrah, during which all key segments of the organization of this major religious journey were discussed in detail.

Participants went through the complete plan from departure from Sarajevo Airport to stays in Mecca and Medina, with a special focus on how guides should explain the Hajj rituals to future pilgrims and facilitate their navigation.

A special novelty this year is the presentation of a mobile application intended for pilgrims. The application will consolidate all important information in one place, including Hajj rituals, geography of holy sites, prayers, and practical instructions.

Furthermore, the application allows for tracking the location of pilgrims, which will significantly facilitate organization and response for guides in case someone gets lost.

The Office for Hajj and Umrah emphasized that all preparations for the upcoming journey have been completed and that the organization is fully ready. Future pilgrims have been invited to remain calm and have full confidence in the organizational team.

"We will do everything to ensure a comfortable and easy stay for the pilgrims, and that, God willing, they return fulfilled and with accepted Hajj," stated the Office for Hajj and Umrah.

This year, pilgrims from Bosnia and Herzegovina will be accompanied by 48 guides, 14 members of the medical staff, six Sharia consultants, as well as a technical team.

A total of 2,222 people will travel for Hajj, and the departure of the first group is planned for May 16.
