Project "Little Beekeeping School" Completed

The closing event of the project "Little Beekeeping School" was held at the premises of the "Alija Nametak" Primary School. The project was realized by the association "Skakavac" under the auspices of the Municipality of Centar, Sarajevo, reports Patria.

 

"Little Beekeeping School" is a project intended for sixth and seventh-grade students from primary schools in the Centar municipality – "Vladislav Skarić", "Safvet-beg Bašagić", and "Alija Nametak", as well as students from the "Vladimir Nazor" Centre for Upbringing, Education, and Rehabilitation. During lectures and training, under the supervision of experts and through practical work, they had the opportunity to train in beekeeping.

At the closing event, students who attended the "Little Beekeeping School" were awarded "Little Beekeeper" diplomas.

As part of its support for projects by non-governmental organizations, the Municipality of Centar financially supported this project with 2,000 KM. Its realization has shown the great potential offered by the cooperation between the non-governmental sector and educational institutions, all in the interest of the students.
