First special session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska concluded, a new one to follow and Minić appointed head of the Government

(Patria) - The National Assembly of Republika Srpska has concluded its first special session.

The deputies of the NSRs adopted the resignation of Prime Minister Savo Minić.

Following the conclusion of this session, a new one is foreseen to elect the Government of RS.

Minić returned the mandate on January 15, and the acting President of RS, Ana Trišić Babić, informed him that he would be proposed as the mandate holder again.

On September 2, 2025, the National Assembly of RS elected a new Government of RS, headed by Savo Minić, despite the fact that the proposal for the mandate holder came from Milorad Dodik after he received a final verdict prohibiting him from holding public office for the next six years.
