Meeting of OSA and SOA Chiefs Concluded: Mehmedagić and Markić Left in the Same Vehicle

The meeting between the Director of the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH (OSA) Osman Mehmedagić and the Director of the Security Intelligence Agency (SOA) of Croatia Daniel Markić has concluded, who today discussed the alleged wiretapping of Croatian officials and businessmen by OSA, reports NAP.

From neighboring Croatia, some officials and media outlets had previously accused OSA of wiretapping Croatian officials and businessmen on the orders of the Bosniak member of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegović.

Mehmedagić and Markić did not wish to give statements after the meeting, and it was confirmed that OSA will later issue a press release.

The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Mektić, told reporters that the entire affair was fabricated by the media.

- There was no illegal activity by the intelligence services of the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was concluded at the meeting of the heads of the two services - said Mektić.

- It was stated that cooperation between the two countries is very good, that it will continue to be so, and that this, more media-provoked affair, should be toned down by certain media outlets, given that we need to work on improving relations between our two countries.
