Plum Fair in Gradačac Concluded: 302 Exhibitors Presented Their Products and Services

The 43rd International Fair of Agriculture and Food Industry – Plum Fair in Gradačac has concluded, featuring exhibitors from BiH, the region, and the EU. A total of 302 exhibitors presented their products and services across 7,500 square meters of open and closed space. The fair showcased exhibits from some of the most significant producers and processors of agricultural products, and numerous organizations and institutions that support and promote this economic sector were represented.

- We are very satisfied, and judging by the reactions of exhibitors, officials, and visitors, this year's fair was one of the best organized and had the highest number of participants. Visitors were able to see presentations of the latest products and services in the fields of food and beverage production and processing, agricultural machinery, and protective agents. In addition, farmers had the opportunity to learn some of the most important information and recommendations for successful farming.

At the traditional expert consultation in Krušik in Skugrić Donje, topics included greenhouse production, irrigation systems, and methods of plum cultivation and nutrition. A series of round tables, collective exhibitions, and program presentations in the areas of agriculture and business were held at the fairgrounds. This year as well, the sponsors of the Plum Fair were the Government of the Federation of BiH and the Government of Tuzla Canton, without whose help this traditional event could not have been so well organized, said the director of the Gradačac Fair, Hašim Šabanović.

Leading companies and groups in the dairy and brewing industries were represented at the fair. At its stand, the company AS exclusively presented the brands of the newly established fruit and vegetable processing company Swity d.o.o. Gradačac.

This year, medals of the Gradačac Fair were also awarded for the quality of exhibited products, and the Krušik Distillery presented awards for the best brandies and strong alcoholic beverages.
