Plum Fair Concludes: Medal for Quality Natural Apple Juice

The 41st International Agriculture and Food Industry Fair – Plum Fair featured 230 exhibitors from Croatia, Serbia, Turkey, Jordan, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over the four days of the Fair, exhibitors had the opportunity to present their products and establish new business contacts, and awards were also presented, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The Gradačac Fair Quality Medal was awarded to a joint product, natural apple juice, by the companies "Zorg-In" from Kornica-Šamac and "Greni-smit" from Gradačac. As pointed out by Taib Bajramović, owner of the agricultural holding "Greni-smit" in Gradačac, which has successfully developed nursery production of domestic and new selected fruit plantations for 14 years, they started juice production this year.

- We wanted to see if we could make a quality natural product without additives, and analyses showed we are on the right track. The apples are from our own orchard, and we also have new plantations in Kornica, so there should be no problems with raw materials. We will also try with pear, apple, and strawberry juices. The exhibition served us well to present ourselves to the people, to show what and how we work. At such events, one does not expect to sell something, but to introduce the public to their work - said Bajramović.

Representatives of the company ALRAKHA from Jordan are satisfied with their appearance at this year's Plum Fair. Since 2011, they have had a representative office in Sarajevo and are engaged in exporting products from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Jordan and neighboring countries. Exports are mostly based on products from the company Helios Banovići, whose representatives they are, and firewood. They market fruits and vegetables from Bosnia and Herzegovina, mostly apples, in Jordan.

Satisfaction with the presentation at the Plum Fair is expressed by Gokče (Gokce) Misirli, consultant for foreign investments, and Sabri Yigit, general production coordinator from the Turkish company Derin, which produces nets for fish farming. They had contact with the president of the Fishermen's Association in Gradačac and hope for cooperation in the future.

Despite a difficult year for agricultural producers, the fair met the expectations of exhibitors and visitors alike this year.
