Suspension of classes in Sarajevo Canton requested

(Patria) - The Union of Primary Education and Training of the Federation of BiH has sent a request to the Government of Sarajevo Canton to suspend classes in schools in this canton. 

As stated in the request to the KS Government, they are asking it to "undertake all activities within its jurisdiction with the aim of protecting the lives and health of employees, children in kindergartens, and pupils in primary schools in the Sarajevo Canton area". 

"In the last two weeks, statements and instructions from crisis headquarters, statements from the most responsible people in the health sector, and data on a large number of absences from classes confirm the justification of our request to make a decision on suspending classes in schools and significantly changing the work process in kindergartens in the Sarajevo Canton area", the Union's request states. 

The Union calls on employees in the fields of preschool education and primary education and training in Sarajevo Canton who have health problems not to come to work at all and to обязательно inform the director, labor inspection, and family doctor by phone.
