MP Čavalić to file criminal charges against POSKOK for poor construction of Sarajevo-Tuzla road section

(Patria) - Federal MP Admir Čavalić (SBiH) from Tuzla has spoken out after concrete blocks collapsed on the Semizovac-Olovo road, announcing criminal charges due to poorly executed construction works.

He recalled that he had asked parliamentary questions and submitted initiatives last year and earlier.

"April this year, a question, then a few more questions, initiatives, then June, an accident, one person died. A call-out at the FBiH Parliament session. Surely enough to learn our lesson? No.
Again, an urgent request, a question - why, how, when? All unconvincing. Here it is - the collapse of institutions. Concrete blocks are falling. A disaster!

We from Tuzla lost patience long ago and any hesitation regarding federal road construction. Therefore, tomorrow I am sending a criminal complaint regarding the construction, maintenance, and supervision of this section of the Tuzla - Sarajevo road. No more pardons on this issue. My dear people, what is this??? Let the prosecutor's office, POSKOK, do their job," Čavalić stated.

He will file criminal charges for Improper and incorrect execution of construction works,
Negligent supervision of public traffic, Negligent work in service, Abuse of position or authority, Endangering public traffic by dangerous action.

"So gentlemen, answer to the prosecutors - if you are not going to answer to the citizens who risk their lives every day driving on this section," Čavalić wrote.
