House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament adopted the Law on Personal Data Protection

(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament adopted the Bill on Personal Data Protection in its second reading tonight, proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH under an expedited procedure.

At the 16th emergency session of the House of Representatives, out of 40 present representatives, 23 supported this legislative proposal, seven were against, and ten abstained.



Previously, this law, also in its second reading, was adopted at the 27th session of the Committee on Constitutional-Legal Affairs of the House of Representatives, which also adopted 14 amendments that became an integral part of the law.

In the first reading, we remind you, at the previous, 15th emergency session, this legislative proposal was adopted with 30 votes in favor, one against, and eight abstentions.

At the same session, under an expedited procedure, the Bill on Border Control was also adopted.

SNSD abstained on the vote for two 'European laws', adopted thanks to the opposition from RS

(Patria) - SNSD representatives were abstained today on the vote for the Law on Border Control and the Law on Personal Data Protection. The Law on Border Control was supported by 20 representatives, and nine representatives abstained, including all from SNS

Representatives of SNSD and the Serb Club abstained during the vote on these laws.

These are two laws whose adoption is important for obtaining a date for the opening of negotiations between BiH and the European Union.

After the conclusion of the 16th emergency session, the 25th regular session of the House of Representatives began.
