MPs to discuss Budget of BiH institutions and international obligations for 2025 tomorrow, BiH PA House of Peoples to convene on Thursday

(Patria) - An emergency session with only one item on the agenda will be held on Monday, November 17.

MPs will consider the Bill on the Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2025, proposed by the Presidency of BiH. At the session on November 11, the Presidency of BiH unanimously determined the Draft Budget for 2025.

Due to the urgency of adopting the Budget and the obligations awaiting BiH authorities, the Budget will be adopted under an urgent procedure, meaning amendments will not be possible.

After adoption in the House of Representatives of the BiH PA, a session of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA will also be held on Thursday, November 20. Only upon adoption of the same text of the Draft Budget in both houses does it come into effect.

The Budget will be presented to the MPs and delegates by the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH, Srđan Amidžić.

The budget amounts to 1,570,500,000 KM, and after adoption, employees in BiH institutions will be paid an amount of 1,000 KM, considering that they received their salaries for almost the entire year 2025 based on the previous basis, instead of the increased one of 631.50 KM.
