SARAJEVO, (Patria) – The KS Assembly session has begun, during which, among other things, the Budget for 2020 will be considered.
SBB representative Zvonko Marić requested that someone from the KS Crisis Staff address the representatives and the public to provide information on the coronavirus situation. Marić asked the Minister of Health and the Minister of Education of KS to address the assembly to inform them about the situation.
Aljoša Čampara from SDA stated that the health of KS citizens and our children is the most important, and we should consider having the ministers prepare to answer questions and declare their position on the overall situation, regardless of the Rules of Procedure and the flow of the KS Assembly session. At the previous KS Assembly session on March 3rd, this item was postponed to be the last on the agenda.
Mirza Čelik, the Speaker of the KS Assembly, stated that today's session should not last more than three hours, according to the recommendation of the KS Crisis Staff. He called a short break for the heads of caucuses to decide whether to first consider representatives' questions and initiatives, followed by other agenda items, or to hold a special session on the situation in KS regarding the coronavirus.
Čelik announced that the Collegium had decided to consider representatives' questions and initiatives as the first agenda item, which the Assembly accepted with 31 votes in favour.
