DF Representatives and Delegates: Urgently Address Problems Caused by Crisis Staff Measures!

(Patria) - Federal representatives and delegates of the Democratic Front consider it necessary to resolve the issue of care for preschool children while their parents work, which arose after the adoption of orders
and measures at the level of crisis staffs of cantonal ministries of health, all in accordance with the instruction of the Federal Crisis Staff ordering the suspension of classes in primary and secondary
schools and higher education institutions, and the suspension of kindergarten operations.

This issue must be resolved at the level of the Federal Crisis Staff, through which one parent will be allowed leave from work to care for the child, with the same solution for both the public and private sectors. In addition, it is necessary to consider urgent measures to help the economy, as has been done in neighboring countries.

Since issues related to the Labor Law fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we believe that this ministry should also be maximally involved in finding solutions and overcoming all new situations caused by the application of measures of the Federal Crisis Staff. Representatives and delegates of the Democratic Front in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH and the House of Peoples appeal to the Government of the Federation of BiH to consider all open issues coming from the cantonal level that are common to the entire Federation, and to the cantonal Crisis Staffs to find the best solutions for specific issues arising in the cantons in the interest of citizens.

As citizens are exposed to various information and semi-information in light of the new situation caused by the declaration of a pandemic, we call on all responsible parties to, in accordance with their competencies, provide answers to questions that arise daily and are of vital importance to citizens.
