Why did you stay silent while Lagumdžija turned the SDP into a subservient fly of Dodik's and Čović's politics

Member of the Presidency of the Democratic Front Emir Suljagić reacted to a comment by SDP BiH member Bakir Hadžiomerović, which he wrote on his profile on popular Facebook, reports the news agency Patria.

Suljagić's reaction, forwarded to the Patria editorial office, is transmitted in full without any correction:

-Next time Bakir Hadžiomerović decides to speak publicly, let him first make two decisions. First, in what capacity he is speaking, because no one knows anymore whether he is speaking as a candidate for the Presidency, a journalist, a journalist for "60 Minutes" or a megaphone for Zlatko Lagumdžija.

But, much more important than that, before he starts looking for a speck in someone else's eye, let him remove several logs from his own: let him explain his role in covering up the "Racket" affair, the systematic silence on corruption scandals reaching into the heart of the SDP, from bid-rigging in BH Telecom to allegations of crime in the construction of the highway on Corridor Vc.

Let him say something about the sale of surplus electricity and the godfatherly "melting" of Milorad Dodik and Lagumdžija over personal IDs. And finally, when he is done with crime, let him explain why he was silent while Lagumdžija and the SDP leadership, which completely survived, turned into a subservient fly of Dodik's and Dragan Čović's politics: from the Law on Residence to the Agreement on the Value of the Vote. I know who was not silent and I know that only for that reason we can still talk today about the survival of social democracy in this country.

The SDP has long become a political corporation, a company whose sole purpose was the enormous enrichment of a handful of people at the top of that once social democratic party: Bakir Hadžiomerović was an integral part of that project, Suljagić concludes.
