Why was Sebija Izetbegović in the office of the Director of UKCS today?

Dr. Sebija Izetbegović, still the director of the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš", suddenly appeared today in the office of the Director of UKCS, and walked around the hospital grounds. Many believe that she thereby let the employees at UKCS know that her complete takeover of two key health institutions in the Canton of Sarajevo is underway, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Despite the fact that the status of merging the two health institutions into one has not yet been resolved, Izetbegović continues towards her goal. Unfortunately, she is fulfilling her immense personal ambitions at the expense of the rule of law. There has never been any plan to unite these two health institutions. There is no study on the financial or health justification for this unusual merger. There is also no plan for layoffs of surplus employees in this institution, and yet this is also being announced.

This is, unfortunately, again about boundless individual ambitions that have been placed above the law. Thus, what should be a matter of executive power has become the property of an individual. What the relevant Ministry of Health should be dealing with, both as an idea and as practical implementation, is shown to be the arbitrariness of one person and a complete denial of the procedures of the rule of law.

The alleged formation of a commission for the unification of the two health institutions is a farce and a legal nonsense.

The consequences of such a violation of laws and legal procedures will only become visible.
