Why the SDA Main Board ended without conclusions: Election platform without support!

The Main Board of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), held three days ago in Goražde, ended without adopting any conclusions, the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP) has learned. Namely, the highest body of this party after the Congress held a multi-hour session, but in the end, despite announcements, no conclusions were reached.

As Patria learns, the end of the Main Board session was met without a quorum, as most members had left the meeting. However, as one of the Main Board participants told us, this is not the only reason why SDA Main Board members could not adopt conclusions or decisions.

- We discussed the election platform for the General Elections in October. However, the materials we received as a proposal from the SDA Council were absolutely not at the expected level. A large number of members were confused by the proposals, especially by the fact that the platform did not include an explanation of how the SDA would fulfill voter promises – one Main Board member told Patria.

According to his words, there were many objections to the material submitted by the SDA Council, led by Denis Bećirović, and many segments of the proposed platform were, as he said, contradictory.

- I don't know, maybe that irritated the Main Board members so they left, but in the end there was no quorum and we didn't vote at all. We were told that the election platform would be voted on later and that a new session would be scheduled. But, I don't remember a Main Board session ever ending without conclusions – our interlocutor said, as reported by NAP.

Even on the official SDA website, no conclusions have been published, only statements from the speech of the SDA Vice President and a letter from SDA President Sulejman Tihić.
