Why Chetniks wants Mirosavić for director: Are they linked by the 1992 event at Vraca?

Jovica Mirosavljević, known as Chetniks, commander of the SIPA Special Unit and one of the main favorites of former SIPA director Goran Zubac, is still in contact with the convicted Zubac, and is eager for the appointment of Tomislav Mirosavić as the new director of SIPA, writes the Patria news agency.

However, the question is why Jovica so eagerly desires Mirosavić, and as our source reveals, Mirosavić's role from the beginning of the war should be examined. Namely, it is known that there are indications that Mirosavljević was an accomplice to a murder in 1992, which took place in the premises of the Police School at Vraca.

- At that time, Mirosavić worked as a lecturer at the Police School, and it is hard to believe that he did not know what was happening at Vraca, even though as a witness at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the trial of Goran Sarić for crimes committed in Sarajevo, he kept repeating that he knew nothing - says our source.

The case from 1992 never received an epilogue, and at that time, we recall, a 16-year-old boy, Samir Mišić, was killed at the Police Academy at Vraca. His mother Safa said she did not even see the body because it was impossible to reach Vraca at that time. She did not attend the funeral either. Samir was a cadet at the Police Academy.

The prosecutor's offices have been silent for years, and the credibility of SIPA could be significantly compromised if Mirosavić is elected as the head of this institution. Tomislav Mirosavić is the current head of the Police Academy within the Police Education Administration of the RS Ministry of Interior. It is precisely from this position that Mirosavić helped Zubac by completing courses in physical and technical protection for senior officers loyal to Zubac in a short period, i.e., within five days, sources of the Patria agency reveal.

Incidentally, many fear that due to the alleged conflict between SDS president Mladen Bosić and BiH Security Minister Dragan Mektić (SDS) over the name for the SIPA director, Mirosavić could benefit the most, as he also has the highest number of points on the ranking list for the director of the Agency for Investigation and Protection, established by the Independent Board. Mektić prefers the third-placed candidate on the ranking list, Perica Stanić, with whom he has excellent relations, and both are from Prnjavor.

Circles close to the SDS claim that Bosić would not oppose the appointment of Davor Vidović, who, like Bosić, is from Brčko and with whom he has excellent relations.

- What is important is that both Bosić and Mektić understand who Mirosavić is and how they have played their cards wrong. There are many problems in SIPA, and if the right person does not come to the position of director, they will become even more complicated - added our source.
