Why will Izetbegović seek postponement of the SDA Congress?

Bakir Izetbegović, Deputy President of the SDA, stated before today's session of the party's Main Board that the postponement of the SDA Congress, scheduled for May 26, is possible, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

- If the SDA congress introduces turbulence into the formation of government, we can very simply postpone that congress. If we see that it is causing us damage, we will do that very easily - Izetbegović said.

When asked by Patria journalists if he would submit an initiative to postpone the Congress, Izetbegović said:

- If I see that the upcoming Congress is causing unnecessary unrest, harming the state, and existing relations that we now need to calm down, it is very possible that we will postpone the Congress. The state and the formation of governments are more important to us than the Congress, which will be held in May or, say, October - Izetbegović said.
