Guard Azinović reinstated, unionists outraged by Džaferović's actions

Guard at the Development Bank of FBiH Dragan Azinović, who on July 24 around 10 p.m. tried to prevent associates and the driver of dismissed director Ramiz Džaferović from removing documentation from this bank, has been reinstated, confirmed by the Development Bank of FBiH for the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- He did not come to work for several days, but after that he was reinstated and everything is fine. He is working a shift tomorrow – they briefly told us from the Development Bank.

Recall, according to earlier reports, as Azinović said after the incident, Džaferović called him and fired him.

In this case, Azinović acted in accordance with the law and was fully justified in trying to prevent the removal of documentation. As stated by Salih Kruščica, president of the Independent Union of Civil Servants and Employees of FBiH, he is familiar with this case and the union always stands by the worker and protects his rights.

- Imagine someone on the last day of their mandate using that to fire someone. You know what it means to leave someone without a job. But fortunately, he was reinstated. In any case, the union supports workers and their rights – said Kruščica.

He emphasized that Azinović's job description includes property protection, and that he acted accordingly.
