Flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina also declared a war flag in western Mostar!

The flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which flew over the Old Bridge in Mostar last night during a music concert, has been declared a war flag of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina by certain Croatian portals, and the very act of raising the flag was called shameful.

Around 2,000 citizens of Mostar enjoyed a concert by the band Colonia under the Old Bridge last night. The event was organized as part of the celebration marking ten years since the Old Bridge and the old city core of Mostar were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

At one point, a group of young men raised the flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was removed a few moments later.

Several Croatian media outlets reported that a scandal occurred during the concert because the war flag of the Army of BiH was displayed.

Mostar residents who contacted the Patria newsroom also sent photographs that refuted the portals' claims. They explained that it was not the war flag of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina but rather the state flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was internationally recognized and used as the state flag of BiH until 1998.

In the Republika Srpska, the flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina is also referred to as a war flag, NAP writes.
