(Patria) - The flags of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been returned to the hall of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, and the blue cloth covering the coat of arms above the entrance to the hall has been removed, ahead of the conference being held today and tomorrow in Sarajevo.
As a reminder, by order of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, yesterday the BiH flags were removed from the hall and the coat of arms was covered, which sparked numerous reactions and announcements that those who ordered the removal and concealment of state symbols in the BiH Parliamentary Assembly would be held accountable.
"Given that the event is taking place in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the existing state symbols of Bosnia and Herzegovina will remain in their place during the forum. The European Union is unequivocally committed to the sovereignty, territorial integrity and constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina," stated the Presidency of the EU Council for N1.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will host the EU–Western Balkans Ministerial Forum on Justice and Home Affairs, which will be held in Sarajevo on 30 and 31 October 2025 (Blue Hall - 4th floor, Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina building, Trg BiH 1).
The event is organised by the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in cooperation with the Ministry of Security and the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Forum represents an exceptionally significant gathering of ministers of interior and justice from the Western Balkan countries, as well as from the current and future EU Presidency, the EU Commissioner for Home Affairs and Justice, and representatives of relevant European Union agencies.
The first day of the Forum, dedicated to home affairs, will focus on the current situation in the areas of online security, migration management, asylum, borders and visa policy alignment.
On the margins of the meeting, a new Joint Action Plan for the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism and Violent Extremism for the Western Balkans will be signed.
The second day, dedicated to justice, will address strengthening the rule of law through judicial reform and the fight against corruption, democratic resilience and fundamental rights.
The Ministerial Forum will be addressed by Ivica Bošnjak, Deputy Minister of Security of BiH, Rasmus Stoklund Holm-Nielsen, Minister for Immigration and Integration of Denmark, Peter Thomsen Hummelgaard, Minister of Justice of Denmark, and Magnus Brunner, European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration.
