Independent Board of the BiH PA Session, Amendments to the Rules of Procedure on the Agenda

(Patria) - At the 54th session of the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of BiH, proposals for amendments and additions to the Rules of Procedure of the Independent Board as an independent body of the police structure of BiH were considered.

Work on the proposals for amendments and additions to the Rules of Procedure will continue at the next sessions of the Independent Board of the BiH PA.

After considering the letter/representation No. 20-02-07-4-1746-3/25 of 4.11.2025, submitted by the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, the Independent Board adopted a conclusion to request a statement from the Director of the Directorate regarding the mentioned letter/representation.

The Independent Board adopted the Report from the meeting of the members of the Independent Board with the management of the Border Police of BiH.

Information on the visit of members of the Independent Board to the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH was taken note of. During this visit, which was carried out today, as part of the planned activities for 2025, by members of the Independent Board Mate Miletić, Enes Bezdrob, and Milan Stanić, a conversation was held with the Director of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH Enes Karić and his deputies Đuro Knežević and Goran Amidžić.

The management of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH informed the members of the Independent Board about the significant activities they have carried out in the past period, the problems they face in their work, the shortage of police officers, the Law on Police Officers of BiH, and continuous activities aimed at strengthening institutional capacities, including permanent training programs, procurement of equipment, and professional development of officers.
