Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina convenes, agenda includes Report on the European Commission Questionnaire

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina convenes in Sarajevo today. The 38th regular session of the Presidency will consider several proposals and decisions on international cooperation, writes the Patria agency.

The agenda will also include the Report of the Council of Ministers on activities within the process of European integration of BiH, particularly taking into account the completed and remaining obligations related to the preparation of responses to the European Commission Questionnaire.

Also on the agenda will be the Proposal for a decision to initiate proceedings for conducting negotiations to conclude an agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and service passports, as well as an agreement on cooperation between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania in the process of accession to the European Union.

Among other things, there will be discussion on the Proposal for a decision to accept the agreement and designate the signatory for the loan agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the project to strengthen the banking sector, an agreement on economic and technical cooperation for grant aid between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the People's Republic of China, a financing agreement for the Interreg V-B Adriatic-Ionian program between the European Union, represented by the European Commission, Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Italy, represented by the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Managing Authority of the transnational cooperation program "Interreg V-B Adriatic-Ionian (ADRION).

The agenda will include the Report on the implementation of activities related to the activation of the Membership Action Plan (MAP), a proposal for a decision to accept the agreement and designate the signatory for the Agreement on Cultural, Educational and Scientific Cooperation between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Czech Republic, a proposal for a decision to initiate proceedings for conducting negotiations to conclude a Cooperation Program in the field of culture, science and education between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Russian Federation for the period 2017 – 2019, granting approval for the conclusion of the Protocol on bilateral cooperation between the Agency for Labor and Employment of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Service for Labor and Employment of the Russian Federation...
