The Main Board of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of Bosnia and Herzegovina is meeting today in Sarajevo, and delegates will discuss the procedure for holding the third extraordinary congress of the SDP scheduled for December 6, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The Personnel Commission will present proposals for candidates for the president of the SDP and candidates for the Main and Supervisory Boards of the SDP. The candidates for the future party president confirmed on Thursday are: Nermin Nikšić, Selim Bešlagić, Besima Borić, Mirko Pejanović and Svetozar Pudarić.
Today's session will also consider amendments to the Statute that will be directly related to the next regular party congress, scheduled for nine months from now, when the election procedure within the party should be changed.
The adopted proposals should be considered at the congress, as it is the only party body that can amend the Statute or adopt a completely different Statute.
