Employees in FBiH will be able to check online whether employers are paying contributions

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is organizing a presentation of electronic verification of paid contributions for employees. The presentation will be held on Tuesday, May 31 at 11:30 AM in the premises of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, the FBiH Tax Administration announced. 

In the presence of the Director of the USAID Mission to BiH, Peter Duffy, the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, the Federal Minister of Finance, Jelka Milićević, and the Director of the FBiH Tax Administration, Šerif Isović, a video spot will be shown titled “Online Contribution Check” about the new service that the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH will provide to all employed persons in the Federation of BiH.

Namely, soon employed citizens in FBiH will have the opportunity to log in to the Tax Administration website and perform an online check to see whether their employers have paid contributions.

The project was implemented within the USAID FAR project, which is carried out as part of the fiscal sector reform. In this way, transparency is increased and citizens are enabled to timely check whether their employers are actually paying contributions on their salaries, i.e., to react in time so as not to be prevented from exercising rights based on mandatory insurance contributions, the statement reads.
