Negotiations on collective agreements for employees in BiH institutions have begun

(Patria) - Long-awaited collective bargaining began today at the premises of the Council of Ministers of BiH with the aim of concluding the first General Collective Agreement for employees in BiH institutions.

On behalf of the employer, the meeting was attended by the complete negotiation team appointed by the Decision of the Council of Ministers, while on the union side, there were two representatives each from the Union of Unions of Police Bodies in BiH, the Union of Civil Servants and Employees in BiH Institutions, and the Union of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH.

At the first meeting, negotiation principles were agreed upon, a timeframe and Rules of Procedure were adopted, as well as a basis for further negotiations.

The meeting proceeded in a positive atmosphere, and it was concluded at the end that the engagement of all participants is necessary in order to find the most favorable solutions that will contribute to the improvement of the labor-legal and material status of all employees in BiH institutions through the preparation and harmonization of the draft of the first Collective Agreement.
