GOT HIMSELF TWISTED: Konaković forgot about promised protest notes at OIC, supported Nikšić from Cameroon, and listened to Izetbegović!?

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković addressed the 50th session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which is being held in Cameroon, again believing that no one remembers what he said a few months ago.

In the meantime, he also commented on current events in BiH and the meeting between Nermin Nikšić (with the support of Vojin Mijatović) and Dragan Čović, where he supported Nikšić, but actually followed the advice of Bakir Izetbegović, who had sent a message to the Trojka from FTV the day before regarding the appointment of the head of FUP.

“Is there a Croat who doesn't think like Dragan Čović? Is there a Croat from SDP or Our Party, what about them, why couldn't they appoint the head of FUP,” Izetbegović said, mentioning Mostar.

“For decades, the minister and commissioner in Mostar have been Croats, but they couldn't be. Why don't they demand that this be changed? Why don't they bargain with it? Why don't they demand that the Southern Interconnection be launched, that the council chairman be appointed in Stolac,” Izetbegović conveyed.

And then a miracle happens, Konaković sends exactly such a message, commenting on the confusing situation regarding relations within the coalition, as well as the Trojka itself.
“As long as we have two key positions in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Police Commissioner, in the hands of Croats, there will be no changes in FUP,” Konaković stated decisively.

How then does he support Nikšić and trust him if Nikšić has admitted that a Croat must head FUP and that it is a political issue, while publicly stating a position identical to the one stated by Izetbegović?

But we are used to Konaković's populism, as well as his words that are a lie upon a lie!

Simply put, his promises and spoken words are too often in conflict. Thus, he will present his 'consistency' in Cameroon as well. Namely, in his address to the OIC, he expressed deep gratitude to 'all brothers in the OIC member states who supported the UN Resolution on Srebrenica'.

He did not utter a word about the previously announced protest notes that he promised to send on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH to the member states of the General Assembly that voted against the Resolution at the UN.

In fact, the public in BiH was deprived of information as to whether Konaković sent protest notes. And yesterday, he didn't say a word about it, he just humbly thanked those who supported the resolution, and for example, Algeria, which abstained from voting, was also present there.

But Konaković likes to say what others want to hear, so he promised the people in BiH that he would protest to those who did not support the Resolution, believing that everyone was so forgetful that they would not follow further developments, and would be able to thank the OIC member states in peace, as if all of them had supported it.

He did not address with a single sentence those who abstained, and that is the easiest way to remain a brave, honorable politician who brings freshness to Bosnia and Herzegovina in a new momentum. Yes, but if we were to joke and only listen to what he says, without observing what he does.
