(Patria) - The Deputy Commander of EUFOR, Brigadier General Uberto Incisa di Camerana, accompanied by the EUFOR Special Advisor for Weapons and Ammunition Removal, visited a weapons storage site in Visoko.
The weapons storage facility in Visoko is one of 28 weapons storage sites of the Armed Forces of BiH across the country and has been largely renovated as part of the Weapons Adhering Secured Sites Project (WASSP), through which both administrative and storage infrastructure have been improved.
Visoko will soon also be the site where training in the deactivation of small arms and light weapons will be conducted for the needs of the BiH authorities, which will represent support for ongoing training and capacity-building activities.
This visit highlighted EUFOR's enduring commitment to fostering cooperation, enhancing mutual understanding, and supporting the defence institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
