Central Voter List Closed: 3,263,906 Voters Eligible to Vote in October 2 Elections

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today's session, among other things, adopted a decision on closing and confirming the Central Voter List for the 2016 Local Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be held on October 2, reports the Patria news agency.

A total of 3,263,906 voters are registered in the Central Voter List, as follows:

- the number of regular voters for the 2016 Local Elections, as of August 18, 2016 at 24:00, is 3,177,557:

- the number of voters with displaced person status who vote in absentia is 8,946;

- the number of voters with displaced person status who vote in person is 12,005;

- the number of voters voting in diplomatic and consular missions of Bosnia and Herzegovina is 287, and

- the number of voters voting by mail is 65,111.

The decision also includes the total number of voters by electoral units and categories, and it will be available to the public on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, www.izbori.ba, and will also be published in official gazettes, the CEC BiH announced.
