Conclusions of the Security Commission of the FBiH Parliament

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Following the session of the Security Commission of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, the commission's president Damir Mašić announced the Commission's conclusions, as a reaction to the Draft Law in the Republic of Srpska, which, among other things, envisages the formation of a reserve police force in that BiH entity.

We are presenting the four adopted conclusions in full:

- The Security Commission of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina requests from the representatives of the international community, primarily the OHR, which has an executive mandate, to immediately stop the anti-Dayton activities of the Republic of Srpska police due to the jeopardizing of security and the unrest of citizens;

- The competent BiH institutions are requested to assess the security situation after the adoption of the aforementioned Draft Law;

- The Security Commission calls on the Government of the FBiH and recommends to the cantonal governments, for the sake of the environment, to fill active duty positions in accordance with regulations and requests adequate equipment for active duty units;

- If the activities on adopting the law on the reserve force of the RS are not suspended or stopped, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina FBiH will undertake all measures to protect the security of citizens.
