The month of Ramadan is a time for prayer, fasting, and spending time with family for Muslims worldwide, writes the Patria News Agency. To be as close to each other as possible, joint iftars are organized where family and friends gather.
Thus, Bosniaks from all over the world organize iftars in their local communities, and the latest example is the city of Liezen in Austria, where more than 100 Bosniaks gathered for a joint iftar last night.
As they emphasized, this is a traditional event and the first joint iftar of the year, as they otherwise don't have time to socialize due to the fast pace of life.
