Zaimović violated the Rules of Procedure, Izetbegović controls both the health and parliamentary system in FBiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The cancellation of the thematic session of the FBiH Parliament on the topic "The situation at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo with special emphasis on patient treatment conditions and the departure of a large number of specialist doctors" is just one more proof that Sebija Izetbegović has the power, in addition to controlling the health system, to control the legislative authority in the Federation, unfortunately, it was announced by the Independent Bloc. 

With this move, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, Mirsad Zaimović, also violated the Rules of Procedure, as he was obliged to convene a session on this topic, which was requested from him by at least 20 MPs with their signatures.

"I remind you that, as a representative of the Independent Bloc, together with colleagues from the SDP, Our Party, People and Justice, A-SDA, and PDA, I sent a written request on November 21, 2019, to Speaker Zaimović to hold a session on the situation at KCUS. Article 98 of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament precisely stipulates that 'upon the written proposal of 20 representatives in the House of Representatives, on issues they consider extremely important, the Speaker is obliged to convene a session within a period shorter than 14 days after receiving the proposal. If the Speaker does not convene a session within the prescribed period, the Deputy Speakers are obliged to convene a session within the next seven days.' After that, Speaker Zaimović, obviously under pressure from the MP, the General Director and the wife of the most powerful politician among Bosniaks, delayed, and when he did convene the session, they played a double pass with their old political brother HDZ BiH, and the FBiH Minister of Health Vjekoslav Mandić requested a postponement, with agenda items that were not those requested by at least 20 representatives," stated Amer Obradović, a representative of the Independent Bloc in the FBiH Parliament.

The Independent Bloc once again warns of the disastrous consequences of the entire health, and now parliamentary work, being in the hands of two or three families and their political followers. Our representatives, along with other opposition parties, will continue to do everything to expose this arrogant and incompetent government, and we are convinced that the citizens will be on the side of justice and honest politicians.
