(Patria) - SDA delegate in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament Haris Zahiragić summarized today's session on the X platform.
He wrote that HDZ, HDZ '90, SNSD, SDP, and NIP elected Boris Barun as a judge of the Constitutional Court of the FBiH, with a narrow majority - who stated in his official biography that he is a member of HDZ BiH, and who was an HDZ representative in the FBiH Parliament.
36 delegates voted "yes", namely: HDZ delegates, delegates of the HDZ's fake opposition from the Club of Croats like HDZ '90, SNSD delegates, and SDP delegates.
NIP helped them a lot in this because their delegates mostly voted abstained, which was *de facto* "yes", Zahiragić stated, adding that Our Party was consistent this time and voted against.
"If any SDP delegate had voted against, instead of "yes", Barun would not have been elected as a judge of the Constitutional Court. If two more NIP delegates had voted against, instead of abstaining, Barun would not have been elected," Zahiragić points out.
Another curiosity of this vote, he adds, is that out of 23 delegates from the Club of Bosniaks, only one voted "yes" - Dževad Hadžić from SDP, while Amra Babić, Azhar Sejarić, and Nezim Alagić abstained - thus enabling this decision to pass, while 19 Bosniaks voted against, including SDA, DF, SBiH, NES, (SD), (NS), and one NIP delegate.
"This is how much Bosniaks matter in the FBiH where 80% of us live. I am not surprised, but I am especially sorry because my colleagues from the KS Assembly from other clubs, Belma Kapo, Kristina Petrović, and Jelena Pekić, voted decisively "yes", unlike, for example, Smiljana Viteškić, Saša Lukić, and colleagues from Our Party.
Besides Barun, among the candidates were excellent candidates who are not politically active, such as Izmir Hadžiavdić, Jasminka Džumhur, Tanja Hadžagić, some of whom were ranked higher than Barun, but that is apparently not important to my colleagues from SDP and NIP.
And yes, the question is whether with 36 "yes", 34 against, and 5 abstentions, it constitutes a majority of those present and voting, and the competent authorities will have the final say on that," Zahiragić wrote.
