Zaev: All leaders in the region must be united for the sake of common peace

PRESEVO, (Patria) - Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said that the solution for Kosovo must be such that it improves the lives of both Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo and brings peace.

- All leaders in the region should be united for the sake of common peace - Zaev said in Presevo, in south-central Serbia, at a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, as reported by Beta.

Zaev and Vucic met to discuss the unified border crossing between Serbia and Macedonia.

- I am grateful to Prime Minister Zaev for his attitude towards the dialogue with Pristina - Vucic said.

Asked about the referendum on the agreement between Skopje and Athens on the name of Macedonia, Vucic said he does not like to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries and that he will support everything that leads to stability.

- I have no right to invite or not invite anyone, that would be unfair. Everything that contributes to regional stability is important for the entire region - Vucic said when asked whether he would invite Serbs in Macedonia to vote in the referendum on the name of that country.
