Zadar's Fritzl abused family for years, fathered child with daughter

A man from Zadar in his late forties ended up in investigative detention at the end of July due to a serious criminal offense against sexual freedom, namely incest, domestic violence, and violation of children's rights, reports Zadarski list, as carried by the Patria news agency.

Zadar's Fritzl ended up in custody after one of his daughters finally reported him to the police. The girl first told everything to her boyfriend, who encouraged her to file a criminal complaint and thus reveal the terrible secret that her entire family had kept for years.

The monster physically and psychologically abused his family for years. He also sexually abused his eldest daughter, who became pregnant by him while still a minor. The children of the Zadar abuser were beaten daily and subjected to belittlement and insults. 

The mother turned a blind eye to everything. Neighbors had always looked suspiciously at the relationship between the father and his eldest daughter, from whom the monster never separated. They only reacted because of the noise that was often heard from behind the door of their home.

The police regularly filed reports for disturbing public order and peace and domestic violence, but they never uncovered the extent of the abuse. Nor did social workers succeed in doing so when the minor gave birth, and the identity of the father remained unknown.

The entire horror took place for years in an apartment building, in a fairly populated urban neighborhood.
