Visits Banned at KCUS as Well: Increase in Patients with Flu and Covid-19

(Patria) - The Professional College of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS) has decided to ban visits to Clinics and Departments, in accordance with the recommendations of the Public Health Institute of Sarajevo Canton, and considering the increase in patients suffering from seasonal flu, as well as the circulation of influenza viruses, specifically types A (H3), B, and Covid-19.

In addition to the recommendation to introduce a ban on visits to KCUS Clinics, the Sarajevo Canton Public Health Institute recommends other measures that KCUS staff are fully adhering to.

The decision to ban visits will be in effect until the epidemiological situation improves and new recommendations are issued by the Sarajevo Canton Public Health Institute, about which the public will be informed in a timely manner.

"We ask for the public's understanding and to adhere to the preventive measures recommended by the Sarajevo Canton Public Health Institute," stated KCUS.

Visits were previously banned at the "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš" General Hospital as well.
