Ban on transport of explosives today from 12 PM to midnight on January 3rd

(Patria) - On the last day of this year, driving conditions are favorable, as roads in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina are dry or intermittently wet. Fog reduces visibility in the areas of: Bihać, Prijedor, Orašje, on the Zenica-Tarčin highway section, as well as along the Vrbas, Drina, Lašva, and Spreča rivers. We also warn of frequent rock and soil falls onto the road. Increased traffic is expected during the day, especially in larger urban areas.

Drivers are kindly asked to be maximally cautious on all routes, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and not to drive under the influence of alcohol on New Year's Eve.

Traffic suspension is also announced for tonight in the Crnaja tunnel (Konjic-Jablanica) from 11:30 PM to 4:30 AM. Passage through the tunnel will be allowed in two intervals: from 1:30 AM to 1:45 AM and from 2:30 AM to 2:45 AM.

Due to works in the Skela tunnel, on the Jajce-Donji Vakuf main road, traffic is alternating, using one lane during the day, while traffic is suspended at night (10 PM - 6 AM) and redirected to the bypass around the tunnel (Metaling factory premises).

Traffic is slow due to works on the routes: Olovo-Kladanj (Olovske Luke), Jablanica-Mostar (section from Komadinov vrelo to Begića i Begovića bridge), Doboj-Gračanica (in Klokotnica), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude), and Stolac-Hutovo (in Cerovica).

Due to an activated landslide, traffic on the Foča-Goražde main road (in Filipovići) is slow, using only one lane.

At border crossings, waiting times are currently up to 30 minutes.

On the occasion of New Year's, a ban on the transport of explosives on roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be in effect from 12 PM today until midnight on January 3, 2022.
