Stabbed boyfriend in the back: I snapped, he kept nagging me

Josipa F. (31), already known to the police for property crimes and drug abuse, ended up in custody for the attempted murder of her boyfriend M.B., who is a year younger, reports the Patria news agency.

The knife attack, in which she stabbed her boyfriend in the back, occurred in a rented apartment in Zemljak Street in the Novi Zagreb district of Sopot, following a fierce argument linked to long-standing animosity between the lovers.

After inflicting the stab wound, Josipa herself called emergency services and the police, as her boyfriend's condition was deteriorating.

He was transported by ambulance to the Zagreb University Hospital Centre, where he remains in serious condition.

She, meanwhile, became the subject of a criminal investigation for attempted murder, which she allegedly justified by his constant nagging that made her snap.
