683,615 people crossed the state border over the weekend

(Patria) - On Friday, August 2, 2024, increased traffic was recorded at border crossings. At the entrance
to BiH, 32,085 BiH citizens were recorded, while 30,070 were recorded at the exit.

77,602 foreign persons were recorded entering BiH, while 59,153 were recorded leaving BiH. In total, 198,910 foreign persons and BiH citizens were recorded entering and leaving BiH on Friday.

On Saturday, August 3, 37,257 BiH citizens were recorded entering BiH, while 36,706 were recorded leaving. 85,104 foreign citizens were recorded entering, and 65,195 were recorded leaving.

In total, 224,262 foreign persons and BiH citizens were recorded entering and leaving on Saturday.

On Sunday, August 4, 32,928 BiH citizens were recorded entering BiH, while 41,729 were recorded leaving. 74,106 foreign citizens were recorded entering BiH, while 77,724 were recorded leaving BiH. In total, 226,487 foreign persons and BiH citizens were recorded entering and leaving on Sunday.

Regarding airports, according to the records of the Border Police of BiH, 33,956 persons were recorded entering and leaving BiH over the weekend.

In total, 683,615 persons were recorded entering and leaving BiH at border crossings this weekend.

Members of the Border Police are making maximum efforts to ensure that traffic flows with as few delays and crowds as possible, but given that it is the tourist season and traffic is increased, delays at border crossings can be expected in the coming days, especially on weekends.

"We ask all passengers for patience and understanding and suggest that, instead of the busiest border crossings, they use alternative border crossings. We also remind you of the decisions of the Mixed Commission on the reclassification of border crossings for border traffic, which can be found on the official website of the Border Police of BiH (www.granpol.gov.ba)", stated the Border Police of BiH.
