Vaccination point at Importanne Shopping Center this weekend

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton continues the "Vaccination Towards Citizens" campaign. After many requests from citizens, the Crisis Staff of Sarajevo Canton has decided that next weekend, January 15 and 16, a vaccination point will again be set up at the Importanne Shopping Center.

Vaccination will last from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Pfizer and Sinopharm vaccines are available. Citizens will be able to receive their first, second, or third dose of vaccine of their choice at this point. Importanne Center has provided free parking and refreshments for all vaccinated citizens.

Given the increase in the number of new infections in Sarajevo Canton, as well as the fact that most citizens' six-month period after the second dose has expired, the population is urged to get vaccinated with booster doses in as large numbers as possible.

According to the recommendations of the Expert Advisory Body for Immunization of FBiH, booster doses can be received by persons over 18 years of age at the earliest three months after receiving the second dose, if they have not had Covid-19. Persons who have recovered from Covid-19 and received two doses of the vaccine can receive this dose at the earliest six months after receiving the second dose.

We remind you that the Ministry of Health of KS launched the "Vaccination Towards Citizens" campaign on November 6 this year. More than 8,000 citizens have been vaccinated in shopping centers in Sarajevo Canton in this manner, and about 2,000 citizens were vaccinated at Sarajevo City Center (SCC) last weekend alone.
